The Citadel Theatre’s “Pay What You Choose” program, presented by Alberta Blue Cross, was developed with the intention of improving access to live, professional theatre for those who may not be able to commit to a regular price ticket.
To further improve access to entry, there will be two chances to get tickets with an online form and an in-person line up on the day of the performance. Sign up to the online form below to be eligible for all future Pay What You Choose events.

Online Form:
By signing up, you will be eligible for all future Pay What You Choose events. A few days before the first Pay What You Choose performance date of the next show, you will receive an email with a unique link to purchase 2 tickets to performances for that show. Details of the performance dates will be on our webpage and in the email.
There are a limited number of tickets held for online purchases of Pay What You Choose and it is first come, first-served! So set a reminder to be the first in line! Once you access your unique link, you’ll have a choice of payment options to secure your tickets right then and there! Choose pay options from $5 up to $25 (or call the Box Office for another option)
Once those tickets are gone you can still come to the in-person line up on the day of the performance where we have even more tickets held for anyone who wants access to these incredible shows!
In-Person:
If unsuccessful in getting Pay What You Choose tickets online, there is another chance to get tickets at the in-person line up. Dates are listed on the webpage.
Please note: Entrants who were successful in purchasing Pay What You Choose tickets online are not eligible for additional tickets through the in-person line up. Failure to confirm payment and pick up your tickets may exclude you from future Pay What You Choose events. Tickets are limited and subject to availability. Pay What You Choose tickets are not eligible for exchange or refund.
