2024 West HQ Creative Youth Intensive Application

Join Sydney Dance Company for our Creative Youth Intensive in October 2024!

Presented by West HQ, this intensive program is open to dancers in Years 9 to 12, aged 14-18 with some experience in dance.

Working with Sydney Dance Company's Teaching Artists, young dancers will have the opportunity to explore their own creativity through contemporary dance techniques, creative tasks and development. Participants will experience the choreographic process and repertoire of Sydney Dance Company, culminating in an informal performance opportunity at the end of the week for family, friends and the broader community.

This application-based program is generously supported by West HQ and is fully subsidised for all successful participants.

All applicants will be notified of the outcome after applications close on Friday 20 September 2024.

Youth Intensive Information:

Dates: Tuesday 8 October to Saturday 12 October 2024

Times: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily (schedule may vary)

Location: Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ. Rooty Hill NSW
