2026 Creative Youth Intensive Application

Join Sydney Dance Company for the Creative Youth Intensive at Sydney Coliseum Theatre (West HQ), running from Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October 2026.

Designed for dancers aged 13 - 17years old with some dance experience, this five-day program takes place during the spring school holidays and offers a supportive and engaging environment to challenge and further develop contemporary dance skills.

Led by Sydney Dance Company’s Teaching Artists, participants will explore contemporary technique, creative tasks and artistic development, while gaining insight into the Company’s choreographic process and repertoire. The program will culminate in a final performance for family, friends and the local community.

This application-based program is generously supported by West HQ and is fully subsidised for all participants.

Successful applicants will be notified via email and must accept their offer within one week to secure their place. Applications close Wednesday 23 September, unless filled earlier.

Times: 10:00am – 4:00pm daily (schedule may vary)

Location: Sydney Coliseum Theatre, West HQ. Rooty Hill NSW
