Season 2025 VOYCE Auditions

VOYCE Youth Opera Program re-imagines the potential of opera and music theatre for young, aspiring singers through regular training and a range of performance opportunities.

Auditions will be held on 13 - 14 November from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
Registrations will close at 9.00 am, on Monday 28 October.
You will be notified of your audition time by Friday 1 November.

Auditionees are required to prepare two contrasting works, with at least one work in English. Only one piece may be performed, so choose the order of your presentation carefully. A pianist will be available and time to rehearse with them will be given prior to the audition. Auditionees may be asked basic musicianship questions regarding their repertoire selection as well as demonstrate their vocal range through scales or similar exercises.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals take place at Horti Hall (unless specified for elsewhere) from 5.45 pm - 7.45 pm every Tuesday during the school term.

Performances

Showcase Concert - Date TBC.
Youth Opera - in 2025 a select group of VOYCE participants will be invited to perform in the chorus of the VO Emerges Production.
